Flynx

Flynx is a special kind of browser that opens up in floating bubbles instead of full screen like a normal browser. It was updated to version 1.0 which means it has finally sacrificed beta. The update also brought a number of new features. It’s totally free so it's a worth looking.
                           



Almightree: The Last Dreamer

[Price: $1.99]
Almightree is a 3D puzzle platformer where you play as an adventurer to who must bring balance to a adventurous and crumbling world. It brings with it decent and vivid graphics, a fun story, and really good game music. It’s $1.99 but there are no in app purchases.






SoundHUD

[Price: Free with in app purchases]
SoundHUD is a new app that helps you control your volume without root. Using this, you can put your Lollipop device into actual silent mode if you want and there are many other features such as the ability to only adjust media volume on tablets. It’s free to use with in app purchases. Be sure to check it out, especially if you really miss silent mode in lollipop.







Heavenstrike Rivals

[Price: Free with in app purchases]
Heavenstrike Rivals is a new tactical RPG by Square Enix. It has some pretty decent graphics and vivid colors and similar battle mechanics to Final Fantasy Tactics. Not exactly the same, but similar. It’s free with in app purchases and it’s worth a look if you’re a strategy RPG fan. 





YouTube Kids

[Price: Free]
YouTube Kids was released this last by Google by getting generally positive reviews. It is a YouTube app that is focused specifically at kids and contains playlists with entertaining and educational content for kids. It’s an app that all parents should at least try out and it is totally free. Give some entertainment to your kids, I'm sure kids will love all the entertaining playlists.

VLC

VLC is releasing an update soon to version 3.0 and it will come with big changes. The biggest of which will be Chromecast support. That means very soon, Chromecast users will have a powerful media player in their bag. The update isn't out yet but it should be coming sometime soon in future  update. But be in touch with current beta version of VLC.






                     

Monkey King Escape

Monkey King Escape is a new infinite runner out of Ubisoft that features some colorful and good graphics, fun cartoons, and of course, that always addictive infinite runner style. It’s fairly run of the water when compared to others, but it’s still a great game for kids and adults who love animals(especially monkey).





                                 


                     

Pushbullet

Pushbullet received a huge update this last week. Now, on top of text messages, you can also respond to Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, and Google Hangouts messages on your computer. This is the update that a lot of people have been waiting for and really helps an already strong set of features from Pushbullet.





                     

Do Button by IFTTT

Do Button by IFTTT is a new app from the same great minds that gave us, you guess it, IFTTT. This allows you to create a button that does whatever you want when you press it. Simply create the recipe and then whenever you tap the button, your device will do the things you want. It’s also totally free.





Draw Slasher by Mass Media

[Price: $2.99]
Draw Slasher was a popular game on the PS Vita console and last week it saw an official Android release. It’s an action-adventure hack and slash game where you swipe to slash up bad guys. It’s a paid game but there are no in app purchases which is quite good.

Transformers: Battle Tactics

Transformers: Battle Tactics is a fighting game released earlier this week. The game contains no story line which some players didn’t like, but it does have online PvP battles and you can play as both Decepticons and Autobots if you want to. It’s a fun little online time waster and it’s free to play! (Who doesn't like free stuffs even if it's not satisfactory though?)

Microsoft released Picturesque Lock Screen this last week. It’s a lock screen replacement app that updates daily with new wallpapers and also gives you access to things like news, weather, notifications, and even some specific    features for the folks in India. theScore eSports

It’s good to see when a sports news outlet takes a new sporting platform too seriously and that’s what theScore has done this last week with their new eSports app. You can view news on games like Dota 2, Call of Duty, Hearthstone, and more will be added soon.
